On the ramparts of the sultans’ great shrine

You so eclipsed the surrounding beauty

When I saw you I went so dizzy

I knew I’d found my way to Nirvana

Amid the splendours of the Alhambra

That marvellous day in Granada

We agreed to dinner at the Parador

The most romantic spot you could ask for

A feast as my ticket to paradise

An enchantment that lasted past sunrise
